In the week before International Noise Awareness Day, which this year is April 24, the Iberoamerican Federation of Acoustics (Federaci\u00f3n Iberoamericana de Ac\u00fastica) organizes its Second Cycle of Conferences<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abstract: <\/strong>Los hologramas \u00f3pticos pueden modular frentes de onda luminosos para generar im\u00e1genes visibles. Del mismo modo, los hologramas ac\u00fasticos pueden sintetizar im\u00e1genes ac\u00fasticas, produciendo zonas en las que las ondas mec\u00e1nicas presentan una gran amplitud y las zonas en las que el medio est\u00e1 en reposo. En esta charla presentaremos c\u00f3mo podemos controlar un frente de onda ac\u00fastico utilizando un holograma. Estas lentes hologr\u00e1ficas generan im\u00e1genes ac\u00fasticas de alta intensidad que empleamos para el tratamiento no invasivo de trastornos neurol\u00f3gicos, producir patrones de cavitaci\u00f3n para la administraci\u00f3n localizada de f\u00e1rmacos y patrones t\u00e9rmicos uniformes de forma arbitraria para la hipertermia dirigida. De este modo, los hologramas ac\u00fasticos se perfilan como un enfoque disruptivo y de bajo coste para las aplicaciones biom\u00e9dicas de ultrasonidos en neurolog\u00eda, incluida la apertura de la barrera hematoencef\u00e1lica para la administraci\u00f3n localizada de f\u00e1rmacos o la neuromodulaci\u00f3n mediante sistemas de bajo coste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
