Alongside courses on these fundamentals, we will offer daily <strong>\u201cHot Topic\u201d seminars<\/strong> that will cover current cutting-edge research topics in physical acoustics. Unique to our summer school is the inclusion of <strong>experimental demos and numerical tutorial sessions<\/strong>, which are geared towards giving participants hands-on skills that they can then bring back and use in their own research. Additionally, we have incorporated time for early-career attendees to present their work in <strong>short presentations<\/strong> and an evening<strong> \u2018pint of science\u2019 poster session<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Topics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The summer school will cover topics including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fundamentals of linear acoustics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nonlinear acoustic effects: radiation forces &amp; streaming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Field synthesis &amp; acoustic holograms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bubble dynamics &amp; cavitation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emerging areas in physical acoustics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p
