The Spanish Ultrasonics Society was created to promote activities, training, networking and technology transfer in ultrasonic technologies, to foster cooperation between research groups, industry and relevant sectors. Although the seminal idea of founding an ultrasound network in Spain dates back to the 2000s, it was not until 2023, in a meeting during the 54th Spanish Congress of Acoustics, that the network was consolidated and the society’s activities began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invite all researchers and industrial partnership, as well as healthcare interested people, to join the society and contribute to its growth. If you want to join the society and have any idea to foster the network, do not hesitate to join the society!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our Philosophy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Spanish Ultrasonics Society is an open association and membership is free of charge. We aim to project the research activities and results of Spanish researchers, making them visible and accessible for other groups and for biomedical, industrial or agri-food partnerships.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer visibility for the actions taking place in the Spanish ultrasonics community using social networks, email list, special events, meetings and special sessions in conferences, as well as training activities. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Ultrasound Medical and Industrial laboratory belongs to the “Instituto de Instrumentaci\u00f3n para Imagen Molecular”, a joint center of Spanish Research Council (CSIC) and Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de V\u00e1lencia. It is devoted to research on ultrasound technologies for biomedical imaging and therapy, as well as technology transfer to industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
