Qualification: Physics, Telecommunications/Electronics Engineering or similar. Possibility of a PhD contract in case of having the degree.
Salary: 38.494 €/y.

Description
From the Ultrasonic Systems and Technologies Group (GSTU) we offer a permanent contract for research in “Ultrasonic Imaging Technologies”. The objective of this line is the development of new ultrasonic imaging (ultrasound) methods and systems for medical and industrial applications.
We are looking for candidates with knowledge and experience in signal and image processing (Matlab, Python, etc.), and laboratory work. Previous experience in research, training techniques and image analysis, ultrasound in medicine and industry, artificial intelligence and programming in C and C++ will be an asset.
The person hired will join a multi-disciplinary team, ranging from basic research in ultrasound physics and image generation, to the development of prototypes and their transfer to industry. We have projects in various sectors such as aerospace, power generation and clinical and pre-clinical diagnostics, both national and international and contracts with companies.
